Cybersixgill Joins Cortex XSOAR Hackathon in the Threat Intelligence Category

Palo Alto Networks is sponsoring the largest ever SOAR hackathon, as part of Cortex Marketplace. The Hackathon runs Aug. 4 to Sept. 29 with  $60,000 in prizes. Alongside Google and AWS, Cybersixgill will sponsor and lead the threat intelligence category with a playbook creation competition.

The challenge is to create a playbook based on IOCs from Cybersixgill Darkfeed, an intelligence stream of deep and dark web-based IOCs which is consumed and actioned via Cortex XSOAR. Contestants will get access to Darkfeed, which features unmatched, fully automated unique threat intelligence in real-time - and will have to create a playbook, to tackle a specific use case.

1st prize is $5,000

2nd prize is $2,500

3rd prize is a $150 gift certificate for Jeni’s splendid gourmet ice creams

“The threat intelligence community is full of extremely talented individuals and we’re thrilled to see what will happen when talent of this caliber will meet our technology, consumed through Cortex XSOAR”,  said Meira Primes, Cybersixgill’s CMO. “We can’t wait to review the submissions!”

The winning playbook will be the one that harnesses information, productivity, imagination and finesse to tackle this challenge head-on. Want to get in on the action? Visit www.automationrising.devpost.com to start building today.
