About the position:

As Chief Architect you will oversee the architecture of Sixgill’s systems and services. Shaping the architecture and landscape of our solutions, you will interface with key personnel across all technical teams. You will play a leading role in the R&D organization and collaborate with different functions outside of the R&D organization.


  • 10+ years of hands-on software development experience
  • Extensive experience with object orientated design and implementation
  • Proficient with microservice-based architecture
  • Extensive experience with cloud computing providers, particularly AWS
  • Experience with containers and serverless technologies, specifically, Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with networking and network security
  • Cultivate and drive innovation and engineering excellence
  • Mentor developers in improving existing and new architecture, design, coding and testing methodologies
  • Lead and participate in research, evaluation of 3rd party solutions, and development of complex components
  • A hands-on team player
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • BSc or higher degree from a leading university
  • Fluent in English and Hebrew, both written and verbal
