Data Operations Analyst

About the position:

Sixgill is a well-funded, fast growing tech company in the area of cyber threat intelligence. We are looking for a data analyst to help us with our go-to-market KPI definition, monitoring and projection. As a data operations analyst, you will work on various projects across different business units and department VPs to collect and share data. Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for monitoring go-to-market operations from a performance and cost perspective.

Responsibilities:

  • Ongoing active monitoring of our sales and business operations, including the following:
    • Sixgill’s past, current and future SaaS KPIs
    • Saas KPIs: new, upsale, renew, churn, downsale, LTV
    • Our past, current and future financial SaaS KPIs
    • Financial SaaS KPIs: CAC, Net Churn, Gross Churn
    • Our P&L level sales metrics: COGS
    • Our past, current and future services organization profitability
  • Ongoing monitoring of our marketing performance:
    • What is our past, current and future conversion rate in various funnel stages grouped by source, event, campaign and geography
    • What is our past, current and future cost per lead, cost of an SQL, and SQO grouped by source, event, campaign and geography
  • Ongoing monitoring POV success/churn:
    • What is our past, current and future conversion rate in POV
  • Ongoing GTM financial operation analysis:
    • Commissions calculations
    • Vendors/resellers/rev-share monitoring
  • Review company policies to help enhance workflow and develop a stronger company
  • Collaborate with sales and other teams to help find ways to create cost-effective business processes that will attract new customers

 

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a sales/business analyst, preferably with experience in a B2B SaaS company
  • Experience working with BI tools (Looker/Tableau/Power BI)
  • Experience working with complex data sets, deriving insights and conclusions with great attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with different management members
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills for interaction with all levels of management
  • Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English
  • BA/BS in Business, Industrial Engineering, Economics or equivalent degree

 

Advantages:

  • Proficiency in SQL / analytics tools
