Sixgill Signs Deal With Scitum/Telmex, part of Grupo Carso, Providing A Solution To Detect and Defuse Cyber Attacks Before They Happen

Sixgill, a leading cyber intelligence company that monitors the Dark Web for malicious attacks, has signed a strategic partnership and collaboration agreement with Grupo Carso company, Scitum, to automatically monitor the Dark Web for malicious attacks for customers in Mexico and Latin America

TEL AVIV, Israel & MEXICO CITY–Sixgill (http://cybersixgill.com/) a cyber intelligence company has signed a deal with Scitum/Telmex, part of Grupo Carso, and the largest integrated information security company in Mexico and the Latin American region. Sixgill’s advanced platform detects and defuses cyber-attacks and sensitive data leaks originating from the Dark Web before they occur, and provides this information through real-time alerts. Scitum will implement and offer Sixgill’s services to other Grupo Carso companies, including with Scitum’s parent company, Telmex, and América Móvil, a leading wireless services provider in Latin America and the fourth largest in the world in terms of equity subscribers.

Scitum will offer Sixgill’s solution portfolio as an “on-premise” solution, as well as under a SaaS model. It will be added to Scitum’s portfolio of services related to security and managed services that include the design, implementation, and management of infrastructures of security of information, and consulting.

In an era where large enterprises face increasingly sophisticated hackers and cyber attacks, Sixgill offers a proven solution that greatly reduces damages to organizations. Sixgill’s platform utilizes automated monitoring of closed, open, and hybrid Dark Web forums, where it collates and analyzes “big data” to create profiles and patterns of Dark Web users and their hidden social networks. This allows Sixgill to identify potential hackers based on their activities, and track them as they plan malicious and illegal activity. Sixgill’s platform can also be used to identify sensitive data leaks, expose illegal marketplaces, and warn of physical attacks.
